What is RideSetup?
RideSetup is a mountain bike suspension calculator. You enter your weight, suspension model, and riding style; we return recommended PSI, sag targets, and damping settings based on manufacturer guidelines.
RideSetup is operated by Radostin Armenov as a solo, independent project.
What data we collect

Why we collect it
- Email & password: to authenticate you and let you access your setups from any device.
- Body weight, models, ride style: to calculate and store your personalised suspension settings.
- Ride history: to help you track which settings worked and refine your setup over time.
- Email for product updates: when you create an account, your email may be used to notify you about significant new features. You can ask to be removed at any time.
How it's stored & protected
Cloud data is stored in Supabase, a managed PostgreSQL database hosted on AWS infrastructure in the US/EU. Supabase enforces row-level security so your data is only accessible with your authenticated session. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.
Tyre saves, theme settings, and onboarding state live entirely in your browser's localStorage and never leave your device.
We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third party for advertising or commercial purposes.
Your rights
- Delete your account: available in the Settings tab. This permanently deletes your account and all cloud-stored setups.
- Data export: email radostinarmenov@gmail.com to request a copy of your data.
- Unsubscribe from emails: reply to any product email with "unsubscribe" or email us directly.
- Local data: clear your browser's localStorage at any time to remove all on-device data.
Third-party services
- Supabase: authentication and database. Privacy policy.
- Google Sign-In: optional OAuth login. Google's privacy policy applies to that authentication step.
- Vercel: hosting. Vercel may log request metadata (IP, timestamp) for security purposes. Privacy policy.
- Font Awesome & Google Fonts: loaded from CDN. Standard CDN request logs apply.
Cookies & tracking
RideSetup does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Supabase uses session tokens (stored in localStorage) to keep you logged in. No cross-site tracking is performed.
Terms of use
RideSetup provides suspension recommendations based on manufacturer guidelines and community-verified data. These are starting points. Always verify your sag with rider weight applied and adjust to personal preference.
Suspension setup affects bike handling and rider safety. RideSetup is not liable for any incidents resulting from following these recommendations. Always ride within your ability and check your equipment before riding.
You may use RideSetup for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not scrape, redistribute, or commercially exploit the suspension data or application without written permission.
